The 89er Chapter of Trout Unlimited's 15th Annual Banquet and Auction will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at
Sportsman's Country Club, 4001 NW 39th Street, OKC. Preview of all auction items starts at 5:30 pm. Live Auction
begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be $25 in advance and $30 for all tickets picked up or purchased at the door. See the

Guest speaker for this months club meeting is Ken Richards owner & fly fishing guide www.justfishinguides.com Ken
has been a long time supporter of TFF and Ok/TU and as a cancer survivor and has generously donated his time to the
Reel Recovery Program www.reelrecovery.org Ken will be speaking about his involvement in this worthy cause and
the benefits it provides to those who are suffering from Cancer.
Everyone is invited to attend!

This month's club outing is in Mountain Home, Arkansas where we will attend the Sowbug Roundup. There are lots of
lodging options in the area including Rim Shoals , His Place , Whispering Woods Fulton's Lodge and many other White
River Lodging Options Where ever you decide to say, please join us on Saturday night for dinner at the Rim Shoals

This month's outing will be on the Beaver Lake, Tailwater. located in Carrol County, Arkansas on the White River. In
case of high water conditions, we have an alternative plan to fish at Roaring River State Park in Missouri which is
about 1/2 hour from Beaver Dam. More details to follow, watch for information in the April newsletter and right here.
April 30 & May 1st 2010 (Friday & Saturday)
Smallmouth Rendezvous and Fly Tying Extravaganza
The Smallmouth Rendezvous and Fly Tying Extravaganza has a unique approach to inviting fly tiers to the event. Both
the best tiers in the country and beginning tiers are welcome. The informal format of the event allows the tiers to
interact and learn from each other. There are no set schedules for the tiers to be at their station, but each tier will
have a station available for both days to use as they wish. Email Chuck Harrison flyty2@yahoo.com if you would like
to join in the fun.

This month's outing is a joint effort with our friends from Green Country Flyfishers. We are going to Kansas to fish
some strip mines. Green Country Flyfishers are very familiar with the place and from what I've heard it's a pretty place

Trout Unlimited Stream Clean-Up Day on the Lower Illinois River. Last year we had a great day and removed a lot of
trash from our river. Hopefully, this year will be easier. Tulsa Fly Fisher's and Oklahoma Trout Unlimited will provide
food for all participants. Everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish or desert to share. Look for more details in our
Newsletter.
